no shows?!
For the first time ever, I don’t have any shows coming up. It feels really odd. I have not actively searched for shows, nor have I searched for bands to perform with. The reason is that I am very content with the projects I am playing with right now. I think I have found the perfect place to be. I am excited about the prospects of these projects in particular and I am on a well deserved break.
Jeff Laing is about to push some new recordings, and start booking shows again with a new perspective. Queen will be focusing on some larger shows, and tackling some huge songs. Danha is perfecting and writing new songs for a grand entrance into the Vancouver music scene.
Been a while
I haven’t posted anything in a while, but I thought I would throw a small update out there. Jeff Laing is in the midst of recording a new EP, and it’s sounding pretty damn good. I am excited to hear the final product! As for Queen, we have a show coming up on the 25th at the Fairview Pub with our friends Crazy Diamonds. We have played a show with them a couple times, and it’s always a great turnout. As for Danha, We have just moved into our new rehearsal space, and the continued adventure of learning and writing new tunes. We have been working on the live show and a promise that you will never forget the name Danha. Work is busy as usual, and with Christmas around the corner, it’s only going to get even more busy. I should have some videos or photos of my adventures soon.
Danha Update
After the successfull search of a bass player, we have been heavy in rehearsals. Things are sounding great, and I am excited about getting this band on stage soon.
Yesterday, the band did some photos. It meant that I had to actually care about what I look like for a day. I was pleasantly surprised about how things turned out. It appears that I can actually look good.
